Content Development & Brand Launch | Guard Medical’s NPseal patch greatly expands the use of proven negative-pressure wound therapy to help surgical patients heal more quickly and safely. With the launch of an innovative new product design, Guard Medical saw the need to update and expand their brand messaging to communicate the benefits of the therapy to physicians and patients.

Guard Medical’s startup spirit was front and center with its previous website, a simple landing page with contact information. With initial FDA approval for its device coming soon, Guard Medical was ready to launch its first public-facing website for NPseal.
Working with Guard’s product and web design partner, I worked quickly to develop messaging that explains negative pressure technology and its benefits to physicians and patients.
The audiences required different approaches.
Physicians and nurses needed to understand the affordability, simplicity, and efficacy of the device, and get information on how to prescribe and use it.

Patients needed to be reassured about the simplicity and effectiveness of NPseal, learn how this surgical dressing would help them heal more quickly, and understand how to maintain the dressing.
