Brand Workshop & Naming Strategy | Sonoma-Cutrer is a California-based vintner that its embraces its Burgundian traditions, California terroir, and New World winemaking techniques to become one of the leading premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir producers in the market.
Working with the global brand, marketing, and product teams, helped develop and lead a branding workshop to identify key assets of the Sonoma-Cutrer brand that provide rich inspiration. The goal was to create a strategy that helps systematize future product naming and align it with the brand narrative.
As follow-up to the workshop, identified and refined brand “dig sites” with the richest creative potential and developed sample names embodying each approach.
